These are the stories of how a few of our wildlife sanctuary residents came to live at Southwest Wildlife. The unfortunate reality is that there are many other, similar stories.

As sad as these stories are, each of these animals ended up living in a safe, permanent home in Southwest Wildlife's accredited wildlife sanctuary. It is difficult to imagine the endings to each of these stories if Southwest Wildlife did not exist.
