The Searles Society | Legacy Gifts
Impact The Future of Southwest Wildlife With One Sentence.
When you include Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center in your estate plans, your generosity continues the vital work of rescuing, rehabilitating, releasing, and educating about our amazing wildlife. As our communities grow, the importance of respecting and understanding wildlife becomes equally as important.
The Searles Society is named in honor of our Founder, Linda Searles who has devoted herself to the care and protection of injured and orphaned animals. Linda’s commitment has created a Sanctuary that requires ongoing support to thrive and protect native species for years to come.
Planned giving enables you to contribute to the long-term future of Southwest Wildlife, ensuring that vital resources are available for animal care, rehabilitation and educational programs for future generations. This thoughtful approach can have a transformative impact, providing the financial stability needed to further Linda’s vision.
Searles Society donors are recognized in perpetuity in publications and at the Sanctuary’s Courtyard in the Pat Close Memorial Garden.

There are several ways a legacy gift of any size can influence our mission.
Here are a few of the most common:
Bequest
By adding a bequest to your will or trust in as little as one sentence. This easy and flexible option can list a donation for a percentage of your estate or a specific dollar amount.
Beneficiary Designations
Leave a gift by naming Southwest Wildlife as a transfer-on-death beneficiary on retirement accounts, bank accounts, donor advised funds, commercial annuity and/or life insurance policies.
Charitable Gift Annuity
Create a gift annuity by making a contribution of cash, appreciated securities or other appreciated property owned longer than one year. In return, receive fixed payments for the rest of your life with a firmly set rate that never changes. After your lifetime, the remainder goes to Southwest Wildlife.
IRA Charitable Rollover
Make a qualified charitable distribution and satisfy your
IRA”s minimum distribution without generating taxable income.
