Rescuing Wildlife
As neighborhoods expand, wildlife faces increasing challenges from habitat loss, busy roadways, and growing cities. When wild mammals are injured, orphaned, or displaced, Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center is ready to respond, day or night.
Our 24/7 Wildlife Emergency Hotline is run entirely by dedicated volunteers who give their time, resources and hearts to helping animals in need. These are people who truly love wildlife, the kind of people who will drop everything, or drive across the state to save a life. SWCC’s Emergency Hotline is the only one in the state available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
When you call, a trained volunteer answers, ready to offer advice, provide education, or dispatch a rescue team. If a rescue is needed, volunteers ensure animals are handled with care and transported safely to our on-site veterinary hospital for specialized treatment.
Covering communities across Arizona, we work hand-in-hand with Arizona Game and Fish and other wildlife organizations to give every animal the best chance at recovery.
The goal of the 24/7 Wildlife Emergency Hotline is simple: To protect and conserve Arizona’s native mammals by giving them help when they need it most.
If you find a wild mammal in need, call our emergency line anytime: 480-433-5656.
